Privacy Policy: nobody scores

Belsito Score keeps your games, rosters and season statistics on your device. Nothing goes to us. Here is the line score.

Leading offThe short version

Belsito Score is a scorebook app published by Mia Fleming, an independent developer ("we", "us"). It is built to work at the field without an account, without a server and without an internet connection.

  • Everything you score stays in the app's storage on your device.
  • We run no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools.
  • We cannot see your games, rosters or statistics, and we have no copy of them.

Batting secondWhat you enter

To keep score, you type information into the app. That can include:

Teams & rostersTeam names, player names or nicknames, jersey numbers, batting order
Game recordsDates, opponents, inning-by-inning runs, at-bats, runner movement on the diamond
Season statisticsTotals the app calculates from the games you have scored

You decide what goes in. A first name or a number is enough to keep a full scorebook. You do not need to enter phone numbers, addresses or birthdays, and the app does not ask for them.

Third in the orderWhere it lives

Your scorebook is stored locally in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. Other apps cannot read it, and it is never uploaded to us. Scoring, season totals and the diamond view all work offline.

Because there is no Belsito Score server, your data lasts only as long as it stays on your device or in your device's own backups (see section 5).

CleanupWhat we don't collect

We do not collect, receive, sell or share:

  • Your name, email address or any account details, because there are no accounts;
  • Location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data;
  • Device identifiers, advertising IDs or usage analytics;
  • Any of the game, roster or statistics data you enter.

The app has no third-party SDKs for advertising or analytics. The store you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or Google Play) may collect information under its own privacy policy, for example download counts or anonymous crash data you have agreed to share with the platform. That collection is controlled by the platform, not by us.

FifthDevice backups

If your device backs itself up, for example through iCloud Backup or Google's device backup, the app's local data may be included in that backup. Those backups are made, stored and protected by Apple or Google under your account settings and their policies. We cannot access them.

If you use your device's share sheet to send something out of the app, such as a screenshot of a scoring screen, it goes wherever you send it. Once you have sent it, it is handled by that recipient or service.

SixthIf you email us

The only way information reaches us is if you choose to contact us, for example at mia.fleming72@gmail.com. We then receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and fix problems. We keep it only as long as the conversation needs, and we never add you to a mailing list or pass your message on.

The form on our support page does not send anything over the internet. It only confirms your message on screen. To actually reach us, use email.

SeventhKids on the roster

Belsito Score is meant for adult scorekeepers: parents, coaches, players and league volunteers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, including children.

Youth rosters often hold children's names. That data stays on the scorer's device and never reaches us. We still suggest first names, initials or jersey numbers for young players, and checking with your league before you share screenshots that show a roster.

EighthYour choices & deletion

You fully control your scorebook:

  • Edit or remove players, games and teams inside the app at any time.
  • Erase everything by deleting the app. This removes its local data from the device. Copies in device backups follow your backup settings.
  • Privacy rights such as access, correction and deletion (for example under GDPR or US state laws) you can use directly on your device, because we hold none of your data. If you have a question about them, email us.

ClosingChanges & contact

If the app ever changes how it handles data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. If a change means any data would leave your device, we will explain it clearly here first.
