Agreement
By downloading, opening or using Belsito Score, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You can stop at any time by deleting it.
Who may use the app
The app is meant for scorekeepers who are old enough to accept these Terms where they live, or who have a parent or guardian's permission. If you score for a youth team, you are responsible for following your league's rules about recording players' names.
Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Belsito Score on devices you own or control. It covers keeping score and tracking season statistics for your own teams and leagues, including volunteer or league duties.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, rent or redistribute the app, or remove any notices from it, except where applicable law expressly allows.
Your game records
The rosters, at-bats, innings and season statistics you enter are yours. They are stored on your device, not with us, so we claim no rights to them and cannot recover them for you.
Because your scorebook lives on one device, backing it up is your job. Device backups (for example iCloud or Google backup) are the usual way. Deleting the app or losing the device can permanently erase your records.
Accuracy & official scoring
Belsito Score is a tool for recording what the scorer enters. Season totals are calculated from those entries, so a mistake in an at-bat carries into the statistics until you correct it.
The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, association or governing body. Your league's own rules and officials decide what counts as the official score, standings and records. Do not rely on the app alone in a dispute.
Fair play
When you use the app, you agree not to:
- use it to break any law or anyone else's rights, including privacy rights of the players you record;
- enter or share content that is abusive, harassing or defamatory, for example in player names or notes;
- try to interfere with the app's operation or bypass its technical limits.
App stores
You got Belsito Score from a third-party store such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. That store's terms also apply to you. Any purchases, payments, refunds or subscriptions, if offered, are processed by the store under its rules, and we do not handle your payment details.
If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support and is not responsible for claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Our property
The app, its design, the scoring-screen layout, the diamond view, code, text and the Belsito Score name are owned by the publisher and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you no rights in them beyond the license in Rule 03.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the app without owing you anything.
No warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT YOUR DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.
Limits of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, LOST RECORDS OR DISPUTES OVER SCORES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US$10 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under consumer law.
Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you seriously break these Terms, your license ends automatically. Rules 04 and 08 through 13 continue to apply after that.
Changes
We may update the app or these Terms. When the Terms change, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your own country require otherwise. If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
